Climate Change Research

Climate change is an important global issue that has gained significant attention over the past few decades. Laboratory work is underway to examine potential effects of warmer water temperatures and increased ocean acidity (lower pH) on various fish and invertebrate species. It is believed that changes to these ocean conditions may impact biological processes such as spawning time and egg production, as well as survival and development of offspring.
