The Regional Director-General of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans for the Maritimes Region gives notice that Variation Order MAR-VAR-2025-071 has been issued to vary the minimum length for fishing recreationally for mackerel so that no person shall have in his possession any mackerel that is less than zero (0) cm in length in Mackerel Fishing Areas 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21.
Maritimes Region Variation Order MAR-VAR-2025-071 comes into force May 7, 2025 and is in effect until December 31, 2026 at 23:59.
